Ronald St Armand
ChairmanHaving lived in Palm Beach Gardens for nearly three years, Ron has developed a strong desire to give back to his community, particularly by supporting local youth through the arts.
This motivation led to the creation of Pop Up Cultured Art Events, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the power of music and culture, specifically jazz, piano, string instruments, and other forms of entertainment. Through community events and fundraising efforts, the organization aims to open doors to the arts for the next generation across Palm Beach County.
Over the past four decades, Ron has managed multiple business ventures and has recently been appointed president and director on the board of directors of a nonprofit organization. For the past ten years, he has also funded a self-directed philanthropic donor-advised fund focused on supporting the local arts and other 501(c)(3) organizations.
Ron is now channeling his more than four decades of business experience into serving the community. He is eager to bring this experience to the organization's mission and looks forward to collaborating with community partners to uplift and empower others, particularly the next generation.
His mission is rooted in a simple belief: the arts have the power to bring people together, enrich lives, and create lasting opportunities for future generations.
Hope Sears
Executive DirectorA South Florida native with a lifelong appreciation for the arts, Hope brings a unique blend of creative experience, cultural perspective, and hospitality to Pop Up Cultured Arts.
A graduate of A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts, Hope went on to study classical voice and opera at the University of Miami. Her performance experience spans multiple musical genres and venues, from Carnegie Hall in New York City to stages throughout Italy, Austria, Germany, and Palm Beach County's Kravis Center. She has also performed in numerous productions with Palm Beach Opera and was recognized as a 2021 Palm Beach Post Pathfinder Award winner.
Beyond the stage, Hope enjoys drawing, painting, and exploring other creative outlets. Having participated in cultural events throughout Palm Beach County for many years, she understands the power of the arts to bring people together. Combining her passion for creativity with her hospitality experience, Hope aims to make art and culture more accessible, inviting, and memorable in unexpected spaces.
